Living Life After Vision Loss: Riley County

I will be hosting a two-day event, for people who have vision loss, at the Riley County Senior Center on August 12th and 19th. The event will last from 1:00pm to 3:00pm both days. Come learn everything from self-care to using assistive technology to help with traveling and reading. Riley County Senior Center is located at 301 N. 4th St Manhattan, KS 66502

The schedule is planned to including self care, shopping, and cooking on August 12th and reading, writing and technology on August 19th. The event is free and welcome to anyone wanting to learn more about living with vision loss. Below is the flier mailed out to local agencies.

Mandy has worked at RCIL since June of 2009. She is a Certified Orientation and Mobility Specialist and provides services in 32 counties to individuals who are blind or have low vision and are 55 years and older.
