Kansas AuthentiCare

Using Kansas AuthentiCare is a requirement of all Home and Community-Based Service (HCBS) consumers and Direct Support Workers (DSWs). Your DSW will be required to use the Kansas AuthentiCare to clock in and out and to report which services and activities they performed during that time. 

New in 2025!  Per the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), DSWs are required to use the AuthentiCare mobile application.  The long-standing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system may now only be used from the consumer’s traditional landline or their “fixed” VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) phone.  Using the IVR on cell phones is no longer allowed. 

The mobile application is to be installed on the DSW’s GPS enabled cell phone before they start working and providing services unless the consumer’s landline or fixed VOIP phone has been verified by RCIL.

Weekly Payroll
