KU Transition to Postsecondary Education

The KU Transition to Postsecondary Education (KU TPE) has a mission to ensure that students with intellectual disabilities (ID) have opportunities for inclusive postsecondary education at the University of Kansas ​​and prepare for their careers and adult lives through academic, career and student life experiences.

They are hosting informational meetings in-person or via zoom for interested parties.

Join them in person for a KU TPE Jayhawk Info Night or online for a KU TPE Jayhawk Info Zoom this fall.

  • Hear from former students and their families
  • Listen to a presentation from KU TPE staff
  • Meet KU TPE staff and ask your questions
  • All are welcome: prospective students, families, and professionals.

Registration is required.

An in-person meeting is scheduled for Emporia on Nov 14, 2023 at Emporia High School. The next zoom meeting is scheduled for Nov 9,2023 at 5:30 pm. See the KU TPE website for complete information on registration for this and other meeting locations:
