Important Kansas Election Info

Voting is a fundamental right for all citizens and is especially important for people with disabilities. Programs and services that people with disabilities sometimes need to remain independent and healthy are almost always impacted by the representatives we choose to send to Topeka and Washington DC. Voting is an easy way for every Kansan with a disability to advocate for his/her own needs. RCIL encourages everyone to register to vote, educate themselves on the candidates and the issues important to them, and exercise their right to vote! Here are some very important dates to remember for the 2026 general election:

October 13 is the deadline to register to vote in the November General Election.  Link to Register to Vote Guide

October 14 is the first day for early voting and mail ballots sent to voters.  Link to Advance Voting info

October 27 Advance in person voting begins for all counties

November 3, 2026 is the General Election
