National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Posted October 5, 2021 by Beth in

October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)! Every October, NDEAM aims to educate about disability employment issues and celebrate the diverse contributions of America’s workers with disabilities. Each week throughout the month, the Department for Children and Families (DCF) will be sharing valuable information about workers and job seekers with disabilities, details about the agency’s Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Services program, and success stories from their consumers who have benefitted from VR. See their flyer below or visit their facebook page at DCF Kansas for details.
