The Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL) provides core-related services in our PEER Program and our RCIL Friends groups.
PEER Program
The Peer Specialist Program (Peers Empowering Each other Responsibly) provides trained people with disabilities to work with peer consumers to develop and carry out their own independent living plan.
RCIL Friends
RCIL Friends are groups of individuals who all experience disability and meet monthly to address disability needs and issues in the community, such as health and wellness, safety, transportation and direct support worker concerns. The groups also meet on a regular basis for crafts and recreational activities. Please see our Event Calendar for information about your local RCIL Friends group.
